Before we started this project, we read the play "A Streetcar Named Desire" and talked about each character's feelings and traits. Then, we had to use our imagination to write a new story related to the play. We could write a sequel (what happens after the play ends), a prequel (what happened before the play), or anything that connects to the original story. The fun part was that we had to act out our story in front of the class. This project helped us understand the characters better and let us be creative with our writing and acting. It was like we got to add our chapters to the story and share them with everyone. This project was a really cool way to dive deeper into the play and put our own spin on it. It wasn't just about writing – we also got to experience script writing and how to format it properly. Overall, it was a fun and creative way to explore literature and express ourselves.
Innovative Thinkers: I approached the script writing group project by expanding beyond the confines of the original play, "A Streetcar Named Desire," to imagine new stories and scenarios that would deepen my understanding of the characters and their motivations.
Articulate Communicators: I effectively conveyed my ideas and interpretations of the play through my script writing and performance.
